STOP THE HORROR

There have been 30 failed attempts to pass a voluntary assisted dying law in Australia. When Victorian parliament announced a new Bill, Go Gentle Australia, wanted the public to engage local politicians.

This work helped generate public momentum and galvanise politicians into action. On 29 November 2017, after a historic debate in the lower and upper houses, the Victorian Parliament passed the Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill.
